Another drive in the country

A drive through the countryside in western North Carolina provided more than just pretty colors today. There was an array of animals out and about.  There were emus, alpacas, and, of course, my very favorite, two friendly donkeys.

I spotted these guys in a pasture.

As soon as the mother saw me, she started towards me.  The baby followed.

They are SO cute!

I have GOT to get a donkey!

doing out in the middle of the country.

The baby was very curious about me!

Cute little emu.  Like the alpacas, I have no idea why

there were emus in the country!

This house must have an amazing view!
