CUTE!

Sometimes things just catch your eye.  This caught my eye in downtown Asheville.  It was some kind of art in public places.  Along the side of an old brick building were these little painted wooden cut-outs of houses. The were SO cute.  I would love to know the artist who did this.  It was in a very obscure place, along a main street. You would have to be looking down to even see them.  I loved them!

You scrape, and scrape, and scrape - and then go to the other side.  And, by the time you come back around, the side you just scraped is all filled with snow again!

Such cool stuff.  Little harmonicas!  (Very tiny)

Asheville is a very green town.  There are a lot of vegetarian restaurants, and they are very committed to local, organic & sustainable.  Almost all the restaurants I have been in have recycling bins and compost bins.  I love that about Asheville!  These recycle bins are all over - every corner!

THIS HOUSE - OMG!  This house is in West Asheville, NC.  You cannot possibly capture all the stuff in the yard with a camera.  Every single inch of the house and yard have some little monster or other Halloween decoration on it.  I LOVE it!  It was so wonderfully decorated (I'd hate to do the clean-up!).

Bald Eagle!

I was out driving near Brevard, NC, today and saw this handsome fella! I swear he was racing my car, and when I stopped to snap his pic, he just circled above me - like he was posing for me! Always a thrill to see a Bald Eagle!
